My "baby" is now wearing gitchies! It's been a week and a half since I did the 3-day potty training method and he's been wearing his gitchies every day since with only one accident a couple of days ago when he was playing outside and didn't make it to the potty in time.
Now in this whole process I have learned two big lessons. The first one being that if you put your newly potty trained child in timeout he will immediately tell you he has to go potty. And if you believe him and take him to the potty, he will sit there and smile at you but not produce. However, if you call his bluff and leave him in timeout, he will pee his pants. EVERY time.
The second lesson, if you torture your child with endless tickling you will soon feel a warm liquid seeping onto your lap. But all in all it's been a huge success!
And here's little Yoyo holding my friend's wee baby. Amazingly my rough and tumble boy was nothing but sweet and super gentle with this little one.

YAY Yo-Yo!!! Those big boy gitchies are just so darn cute on you. We hope Eden will be going potty soon too!
OMG, that second picture just about did me in! Look at his little face. The sweetness! And such a darling little baby.
Huge congratulations on the potty success, Ricki!!!!!
Congrats!!! I so want to push T's training but until he can talk I just do not see that being possible. Fingers crossed the therapy works quickly. I am SO done with diapers.
Congrats on the potty training! Feels good doesn't it?! Little boys in their gitchies... so cute isn't it? I took a picture of K when he first wore them too. It was adorable. With bright red gitchies on, he was facing away from the camera, showing off his but, with his face turned toward the camera grinning. It was adorable!
yeah Yonas!!! I might be phoning you for some tips on potty training boys someday!!!
Way to go Yonas! He is growing up so quickly.
He might not be too happy with you someday when that picture makes it into his wedding slideshow!!!
Tee hee - he is so proud and cute in his undies!!!
Way to go, Mom!

This is a personal email for you, Ricki :-) so please don't click "post"
I know you were a faya orphanage supporter in the past - that's so great. Are you interested in becoming a sponsor again? We're in need of on-going sponsors for the Faya kids....
Thanks for your consideration! (and for your past support!)

That's a big step. He's indeed a big boy now... And look at him holding that baby. So sweet.
